Our core product is our Small Self Administered Pension Scheme: The Beechwood SSAS. We provide a fully comprehensive SSAS service with fixed annual fees, and we do not charge any initial fee on takeover of existing schemes.
We are a low volume, high quality provider.
Our fees are fixed annually in advance, so you know exactly what the costs will be, regardless of the scheme activity during the year or the value of the SSAS.
A key difference between us and our competitors is that we waive our initial fee when taking over existing schemes. We do not offer budget products and so our systems are not clogged with large volume business, managed by cheap and inexperienced staff. The majority of our schemes have been taken over from other providers due to the clients being dissatisfied with their service.
We are entrepreneurial by nature and work hard to find paths through HMRC rules, whilst staying within them and taking our duties as a Trustee most seriously.
A SSAS is a complex yet extremely effective way of planning for your retirement via your Ltd company. Through investments the ‘scheme’ grows in order to provide an income on retirement. The investments must comply with the Trust Deed and Rules, and also HMRC regulations.
Failing to comply with the aforementioned guidelines could result in HMRC tax charges.
SSAS investments can range from company loan backs, stocks and shares, purchase of commercial property, insured investments and managed portfolios.
Pension provision is more important than ever. Therefore when you can combine a tax efficient environment within your total control, a SSAS becomes a very attractive option. The funds that build the ‘pot’ for the pension scheme are ultimately provided via investments and contributions from your Ltd/Employer. If necessary, Beechwood Trusteeship & Administration Ltd can apply for and run the VAT registration and eventually a payroll for pension when needed.
